MONKII is a contemporary pop artist, an actor, a fashion designer and a poet from Drammen, Norway, born September 6th in 1992. MONKII is also the founder and CEO of MONKII Gallery. MONKII started painting and drawing in 2020 the week before the corona lockdown, and has continued to create unique art pieces ever since. The artworks explore how we define ourselves by gender. The artist wants us to break free from our limiting gender roles and view ourselves with a more open mind. MONKII wants you to be brave and rebellious.
