MONKII started painting and drawing in 2020 during the corona lockdown, and has continued to create unique art pieces ever since. The artworks explore how it feels to be transgender in this world. MONKII has chosen to show the art under this name to be undefined by gender and to be free, as we all should be. Most of the pop art paintings show humans with both gender and body parts, all mixed together to create wild and free characters. They are fun, full of life and humorous, supposed to make you laugh and feel a sense of empowerment.
