Dinner's Served! — 30% to charity | Original Contemporary Painting

Original acrylic painting on 300g/m² art paper | A3 | Red, black & beige | 2026

Dinner's Served! is a bold, provocative painting that uses dark humor and cartoon-like, distorted human figures to explore an uncomfortable truth: sexuality isn't always equal for everyone involved. Two weirdly-shaped, nude figures are depicted in a moment of intimacy — one large and clearly in control, one small, hunched, and positioned beneath, a visual metaphor for submission and imbalance of power.

Set against a striking red and black background with a clean black border, the painting's warm beige tones and exaggerated, almost comic character design give it a playful edge, even as it tackles a serious theme. The title plays on the idea of one person's pleasure being "served" at another's expense — funny on the surface, pointed underneath.

Painted by MONKII, this piece is part provocation, part commentary, and part dark comedy — a conversation-starting artwork for collectors who want their art to say something real.
