Nina

This is Nina. She used to be Robert, but now, at 54, she is finally happy as a trans woman. She was married when she came out, and her wife Janet didn't approve of her. She was angry and asked for a divorce when Nina told her. They had been together for 23 years and Nina was heartbroken. Their kids Nathan and Lucy accepted Nina as their new mom, and thought that it was okay that she wasn't their dad anymore. They're both teenagers and they're used to a society that accepts trans and gay people as equals.
 
Nina loves her new life.  She has started to date younger men and she spends her weekends dancing and smiling in her new, fabulous dresses. She's still sad about Janet, but hey, life goes on. Let's all be a little more like Nina. Show the world our true colors and shine like the diamonds we are.
