The Bad Trip is a wild, funny, and completely unhinged painting depicting a man deep into a psychedelic mushroom trip — one where the hallucinations have started taking over his body, not just his mind. He's grown what look like gills, or maybe tiny wings, on his neck. A third arm has appeared, ending in strange, deformed fingers. Somewhere along the way, he's also grown a pair of very real female breasts, and lost nearly all his hair.
Blood drips from red clouds above him. A dead smiley face floats eerily near his head. He's lost one eye. And to top it all off, he's kicking stars that have fallen from the sky. It's chaotic, strange, and impossible to look away from.

På dette maleriet skjer det litt av hvert. Her er det altså en fyr som er stein på litt for mye sopp, han har tatt så mye at kroppen hans forandrer seg sammen med hallusinasjonene hans. Han har fått noe som ligner gjeller, eller kanskje det er små vinger på nakken? Han har tre lange armer med snåle, deformerte fingre. Han har fått ordentlige kvinnelige bryster. Han har mistet nesten alt håret. Det drypper blod fra de røde skyene. Det svever en død smiley ved hodet hans. Han har mistet det ene øyet.
