They/them/he/she/it/me — 10% to charity (UNICEF) Original Trans Pride Painting

Original acrylic painting on aquarelle paper | 49 x 62 cm (A3) | Pop art | 2025

This unique and colorful painting is inspired by how it feels to be born in the wrong body, and how MONKII, the artist, processes the emotions of being transgender. It's a raw, powerful piece that stands out boldly in the contemporary art world. At the center stands a beautiful female cartoon character, nude, head gently bowed. She has a female upper body and a male lower body, with long, wavy blue hair flowing past her shoulders.

Behind her, the background splits into bold, black-bordered sections of yellow, orange, green, blue, light pink, and dark pink, each one textured with playful black spots — giving the whole piece a striking, pop-art energy even though the surface itself is smooth to the touch.

Funny, cool, and provocative all at once, the painting carries a deeper message underneath its playful style: a respectful, heartfelt statement of support for the trans community, painted from lived experience.

Now you have the chance to own this one-of-a-kind piece and add it to the MONKII pop art collection — a perfect fit for high-end, modern homes that want art with both style and substance.
